This is what I deal with on a daily basis...
- Caller with heavy Indian accent: Hi, is this claims?
- Me: no, but I can give you the number.
- Caller: I don't have the number.
- Me: I can give it to you - it's 505--
- Caller: I don't want the number. Transfer me.
- Me: I'm sorry I can't do that, but I can give you the number...
- Caller: I don't WANT the number. Transfer me. Can't you transfer me?
- Me: No, I'm sorry, as I just said I can't--
- Caller: OKAY. Don't transfer me. Give me the number.
